Athens is just filled with historical architecture and ancient sides, there is just so much to do! We took the time to visit a lot of different sides and like to share our favorite ones, along with their location and entrance prices.

1. Acropolis ”Unveiling Ancient times

No visit to Athens is complete without a tour of the iconic 🏛️Acropolis. This UNESCO World Heritage site is all about Greece’s rich history, making it one of the best attractions in Athens. The Acropolis stands proudly on a hill at the heart of Athens city center. You climb the hill and will be rewarded by seeing the Parthenon, the Temple of Athena Nike and the Erechtheion.

Entry price: €20, Tickets for the site can be purchased in advance online. Or buy directly at the ticket booth located at the entrance.

2. Acropolis Museum ”Go Exploring Ancient Artifacts”

The Acropolis Museum, is a modern museum that perfectly complements the ancient wonders of the Acropolis itself. The museum, located at the foot of the Acropolis hill, is brilliantly designed with a stunning glass structure, allowing the exhibits to embrace natural light. It proudly presents a remarkable collection of archaeological artifacts and artworks discovered at the prestigious Acropolis site.

Entry price €10, You can buy your ticket online, at the museum, or choose a combination ticket that includes Acropolis access.

3. Temple of Olympian Zeus “A Glimpse of Divine Power”

Step into the arena of gods and emperors as you visit the Temple of Olympian Zeus. Walk around the colossal columns, although only a few columns remain it still captures the essence of Greek mythology.

The Roman Agora in Athens is an archaeological site that has the influence of Roman civilization. You can explore the Tower of the Winds and the Gate of Athena Archegetis. This mix of Roman + Greek creates an unique architecture.
