1. The Metropolitan Museum of Art

MoMA’s opening hours are from 10:30 am to 5:30 pm, with extended hours until 9 pm on Fridays.

3.American Museum of Natural History

The American Museum of Natural History, on the Upper West Side, is the place to be for those of you with a fascination for natural history. From dinosaur fossils to meteorites, the museum’s exhibits delve into the wonders of our planet’s past and present. Also a great place to visit with kids!
The American Museum of Natural History is open daily from 10 am to 5:30 pm.

4.Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum

The Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, also on Fifth Avenue, is more than just a beautiful building with a spiral design. It contains an impressive collection of modern and contemporary art. From Kandinsky to Picasso, the Guggenheim showcases diverse artworks in its permanent and rotating exhibits.

5.Whitney Museum of American Art


In the Meatpacking District you find the Whitney Museum of American Art. This museum focuses on American art from the 20th and 21st centuries and offers a unique perspective on American artistic expression.
