No trip to Marrakesh is complete without a visit to its souks! Start your shopping day at the iconic Jemaa El Fna Square, where street performers and food stalls trigger your senses. Take your time to walk the alleys of the Souk Semmarine. This is the largest market in Marrakesh, here you haggle for textiles, leather goods, spices, and jewelry. Remember to bargain with vendors to get the best deals! So you can take some great souvenirs back home.

Food you need to try

Marrakesh is a haven for food lovers. It is a unique blend of Arabic, Berber with French influences.
Start your culinary adventure by having a traditional Moroccan breakfast, such as msemen (flaky pancakes) or harcha (semolina flatbread) togheter with a freshly squeezed orange juice.

For lunch, head to a local place for couscous dish or b’stilla, a savory pie filled with poultry and almonds, dusted with powdered sugar and cinnamon. Also have a cup of fresh mint tea, you really need this on hot days.

In the evening, go into the heart of the medina and have tagine (slow-cooked stew), at one of the rooftop restaurants! And enjoy the magic view of the city at sunset.

Tranquillity in Riads

Spend a day exploring the beautiful riads with their authentic charm. Riads are traditional Moroccan houses built around a central courtyard or garden, making it a peaceful oasis. Enjoy the tranquil atmosphere, intricate tilework, and warm hospitality.
